Sometimes I wonder how big or small this world can be. When you think you’ve seen it all, something just comes out of nowhere and blows your mind! This is exactly what happened with me and Marc Tham‘s S2000. I pulled into the local gas station to fill up the “Yoshivan” and get a few packs of smokes when I noticed this super clean 2007 Honda S2000. After a few glances, I went up to the owner and started to chat with him about his car. After a brief conversation I knew I had to share this beautiful machine with everyone!

When Marc and I finally had a chance to meet up for his photoshoot, I couldn’t stop thinking about how great his car looks. Even though it’s not super slammed with stretched tires, this car still has an amazing stance! He had a purpose for keeping his car like this. He actually drives his car very often – even on his cross country trip back to his home in Philly!

For those wondering what kind of suspension setup and wheels specs, they are Koni Yellows on lower perch with Eibach Pro springs, and Stoptech cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads. The wheels are Works Equips 17×9 +43 front, 18×10 +54 rear with 245/40/17 and 265/35/18 for his street setup. He also has a Carbing strut tower bar and a Spoon X brace.

He is still rocking the Factory front lip while having Veilside V1 side skirts, Spoon diffuser, BYS Spoiler, a custom hood vent with a temp gauge, custom flared fenders and quarter panels (while maintaining the classic body line), and a Carbon Mugen style hardtop with the inside redone in satin black.

Even though it’s not an authentic Mugen hardtop, this hardtop fits very well and looked to be of high quality. I honestly didn’t even notice that the exhaust was aftermarket. Haha! I think that’s what he wanted to accomplish! I can’t get over his wheels – Work Equips are one of my all-time favorites.

Even though this car is one of his daily drivers, he told me he still wanted to make good power and make the car handle well for occasional lapping days at the track. He decided to install a Rotrex supercharger (boosting at 10 PSI) with a custom cold air intake and intercooler piping. The exhaust consists of a Toda header, Berks high flow cat, and a Tanabe Medallion catback painted black with stock tips (to keep things looking clean).

Marc did a great job building this car! I’m happy I was lucky enough to meet him before he moved back to Philly. He also mentioned that he owns an NSX back home. Maybe some further MotorMavens coverage on that? I’m sure the NSX looks as good or better then his S2000!
