SEMA Show 2011 is here! Here at the
Las Vegas Convention Center, there are still quite a few vendors and car builders doing last minute prep work at their respective booths. As I walked amidst the hustle and bustle of the 2011 SEMA Show, I've been "live blogging" by posting photos of cars that caught my eye!
Follow @MOTORMAVENS on Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook so you can see our favorite cars only moments after we spot them ourselves!
Of course, EVERYONE has been hypebeasting about the newly built Porsches by
Rauh Welt Begriff. As excited as I am to see RWB Porsches in the USA for the first time, people-in-the-know have already been following the builds online... so I decided not to lead off with those photos for our SEMA coverage. We'll be posting more about Rauh Welt soon enough... but since everyone knows what the RWB Porsches look like, let's have a look at some of the other stylish cars at this year's SEMA!

Every year there are a few SEMA builds that stand out. This Five Axis-built Scion xB is certainly worthy of falling into that category. The super-wide flares and 5 spoke Impul Hoshino-esque wheels seem altogether remnant of the N2-flared AE86 racers we all know and love. The fender mirrors are another subtle touch that only adds to the feel of that very nostalgic throwback. The rear doors/windows have been sealed up and shaved smooth to give this otherwise 5-door compact a much meaner coupe-like attitude.

Economy notwithstanding, we’re living in one of the most prolific periods of new automotive design. It’s a great time to be a car lover. And, specifically, if you love the Toyota Supra you probably remember when your hopes for the return of the Supra were dashed with the unveiling of this car. By now, you’re probably over it and you’re ready to take a step back and evaluate the LFA for the incredible machine that it is. Or not. But, wherever you may be on the spectrum of opinion, you have to admit – she’s pretty. And she’s coming to the SEMA Show and the LA International Auto Show in November and December.
