GUEST BLOG> Eurowerkz BMW 330i E90 & Z4M

As soon as Chad from Eurowerkz told us his Eurowerkz R3DBULL BMW 330i E90 was ready for a photo shoot (and that he had found the perfect place for it), Johan from WSTO literally stopped everything he was doing and left for a solo drive to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Starting out late in the afternoon from WSTO headquarters with nothing more than a toothbrush and his camera equipment, he braved the hellish seven-hour drive from Chicago IL to Minneapolis MN. Actually, the drive isn’t really bad at all – except for, in this case, the tornado alerts and huge thunderstorms. Not good.

Arriving around midnight, Johan met up with the gus from Eurowerkz at Auto MotorPlex – an enthusiast’s dream. It’s a private garage built to your own specifications. Whether you’re there for storage or a little wrench work, the environment is specifically engineered to engender the height of personalization and comfort – the space feels uniquely designed for your car and yourself. There’s even a lounge and a club house for residents. Very cool! Of course, this called for a night shoot – even though he was still drained from the drive through Hades to get there.

Here is Chad’s Crimson Eurowerkz R3DBULL 330i. The paint comes alive in the dim lighting. A great example of good execution with burning silver Work VS-XXs in E46 M3 sizing that really set it off. A perfect blending of matador-like grace and style with bull-like power!

Here is Derek’s Interlagos Blue Z4M. Another great example of a Z4M with Avant Garde M310s in Hyper Silver. The combination of the brilliant BMW OEM colors and aggressive sized wheels and stance show definite individuality while maintaining a very serious look.

Together, these cars are making a very serious statement indeed. Don’t you agree?

A Dynamic Duo…

The next day, Johan met up with the Eurowerkz guys again and went to Auto MotorPlex and did a more in depth photoshoot.  On the way, Johan got some sweet shots of the 330i and the Z4M…

Awesome!

This time Johan met the owner of the place and was shown other units that were filled with the collections (and passion) of all the enthusiastic condo owners. Truly an amazing experience as you can see in this photo.

In a sea of European exotics and iconic American muscle cars, the BMWs are surely a sight to see – and, of course, no enthusiast’s garage is fully complete without a Gulf Racing logo. I’ll leave you alone for a moment with the following pictures…

Moving on, Johan set up a photo shoot next to a classic car garage with a giant BMW logo on the wall – which fits the theme nicely.

The Work VS-XXs in this shot show off the extensive mesh detail and the tucked look on Chad’s 330i.

There’s so much going on in this picture. Contrasts of age, color, and design.

This shot captures the uniqueness of this particular Z4M. Look at how much larger the fender wells of this Z4M are compared to regular Z4 cars. The stance lends it a bull-like quality – like it’s ready to charge at any moment.

A few BMW Isettas in fully restored trim. Most people might know them as the “Urkel car“. Very cool cars – and tiny!

And what kind of car garage would it be without a nice lounge to relax in?

After taking a quick break, we bring the BMWs to a more open-spaced garage with a Porsche 911 race car in solitary storage.

We end the photo shoot with a beautiful Imola Red E46 M3 with Volk Progressive MEs sitting in the bay.
