JDM Allstars DONINGTON ALPINE Round 2, 2010 from Josh Allen on Vimeo.

I’m currently sitting here preparing to leave for Round 3 of JDM Allstars, but I thought I would just post something that landed in my inbox before I head off. Josh Allen’s been working non stop to get this video from Round 2 up before this weekends event. In the time he’s had to make it, he’s done an incredible job. I’ve got to say, this is probably the best drifting video I’ve seen in a long, long time. The variety of action shots and exciting angles, mixed in with fun lifestyle footage and brilliant editing… those other bigtime drifting videographers had better watch out for Josh Allen!

Stay tuned for more JDM Allstars coverage on MotorMavens very soon!

Thanks guys, learnt a lot making this one and it is good to know the extra effort is appreciated. The contour HDs are awesome although making sure they have enough memory and battery throughout the event is quite a challenge, no fault of their own as they last for ages but spins or crashes add time, drivers/myself/assistants forgetting to turn them off when they come in tends to get you a lot of random footage. Just got to make sure you have plenty of spares, I look forward to using the better quality settings when I have a shoot that I have complete control over and don’t have to cram as much as possible on them. Much love to MotorMavens for bringing it to their audience and with a couple of months until the next round you can bet that their will be some elaborate plan by the time it comes around, sorry for the life story.
